Summer 2024 Registration is Open!
Summer 2024 registration is now open. Please carefully read the details below. All groups will swim at Al Anderson Pool from May-August.

Little Flippers: $475
For Swimmers ages 5-12 who are just being introduced to the 4 strokes (particularly freestyle and backstroke) and are able to swim one length independently. These groups will have a coach and volunteer in the water with them to support them as they learn. The young swimmers are placed in very small swimmer/coach ratio groups based on their abilities. Please note the minimum requirement differs from our fall/winter maintenance program. Participants must be able to swim 25m unassisted. (Completion of Swimmer 3 recommended)
Option 1: May 10-June 28 5:30-6:00pm, July 2- Aug 14 5:00-5:30pm
Option 2: May 10- June 28 6:00-6:30pm, July 2- Aug 14 5:30-6:00pm
Little Flippers practices will run Monday-Friday. You will choose option 1 or option 2 during registration.
*Assessment swims held on April 28 at the Walnut Grove Community Centre
Speed Swimming Program: $625
For experienced swimmers ages 6-18. Must be able to swim 50 meters continuously and unassisted in freestyle and backstroke and ideally be familiar with all four racing strokes.
May 1-9: Dryland sessions will be run in the park adjacent to Al Anderson Memorial Pool. Schedule to be announced. There will also be a few practices held at the Walnut Grove Pool between May 1-9, before we move to Al Anderson.
April 28 and 30- Assessment Swims at the Walnut Grove Community Centre
May 10- Aug 14- Regular Program

Groups and specific practice times will be assigned after the assessment swims. We are unable to accommodate practice time requests.
Masters Program: $525
For those aged 19+ wanting to increase their swimming fitness. Participants must be able to swim 50m continuously and unassisted in freestyle and backstroke and ideally be familiar with all four racing strokes.
Masters: May 10- Aug 14, Monday-Friday 6:00am-7:00am.
Masters- Couples Switch Pass Add On: $100
This pass is a share pass between a couple residing in the same household. Only one person on the pass can attend per practice. At registration: first member will register for Masters. To add the second member, please choose the switch pass add on and complete registration.
Intro to Competitive Swimming Program: $85 per session plus a one time $40 insurance fee
For ages 7-18 who are new to swim club. Participants must be able to swim 1 length of the pool (25m) unassisted in either freestyle or backstroke. Athletes will be introduced to the sport of competitive swimming while improving their technique and endurance.
*Program will run on Mondays and offered in two sessions:
Session 1: May 13, May 27, June 3, June 10, June 17 (7:30-8:30pm)
Session 2: June 24 (7:30-8:30pm), July 8, July 15, July 22, July 29 (4:00-5:00pm)
Fundraising Requirement:
A fundraising commitment of $300 per family will be collected at the beginning of the season in the form of a cheque post dated August 15, 2024 and will only be cashed if your fundraising minimum requirement is not met. You will have the entire season to raise your deposit amount through various fundraising opportunities.
*Masters and Intro to Competitive swimmers are exempt from this fee.
Payment Schedules:
A $40 insurance/admin fee is due at registration. You will then choose from the following payment schedules:
Payment Option 1: $40 fee at registration, all remaining fees collected on May 3, 2024.
Payment Option 2: $40 fee at registration, first installment: May 3, 2024, second installment: June 3, 2024, final payment: July 2, 2024
Langley Flipper swim caps are available for purchase during registration for $12. There will also be a chance to order custom caps at a later date with a cost of 2 for $40. More information to come.

*If determined on day 1 that the swimmer will not be able to complete the standard at the coaches discretion, the swimmer will not be able to participate due to safety and liability considerations. A refund minus the $40 insurance/admin fee will be given.
